Celebrating 20 Years of Women in Transport

A huge thank you to Women in Transport for hosting a fantastic celebration to mark 20 years! Women in Transport is a not-for-profit that empowers women in the industry to maximise their potential.

The anniversary event was about friendship and allyship, and a reminder of what’s important even when times get tough. Women in Transport has succeeded despite some tough economic times and has committed to pressing forward with its agenda to improve and facilitate the lives and careers of those who work in this vast sector and to encourage new entrants through outreach work with schools.

I never seem to take pictures at events but the one below by Carole Stevens who I consider a friend and who works tirelessly and with great dedication.

I’m heading back home now, feeling a renewed sense of hope and purpose. Thank you again to my network who support me to continue my sponsorship commitment to Women in Transport.
